Hello everyone, today I was invited to Aftershock London’s press day at their store on Mortimer Street in Central London. They are looked after by Unstoppable PR and they created a lovely press event for us stylists and bloggers.
On entry I was politely introduced to everyone and given a glass of champers. I was then shown around the store and informed of Aftershock’s latest SS14 collection, which might I add, looks stunning! I had heard about this brand before, but had never really looked in to it. But my gosh I wish I had! They stock the latest fashionable, on trend evening gowns and cocktail dresses all inspired by the latest catwalk trends and celebrity style. You might have actually seen one of their dresses on the ‘X-factor UK’, as the singer Sam Bailey was wearing it when she was crowned the winner of 2013.

The best thing about this brand is that the dresses are extremely affordable. They range in prices up to £350 which I personally think is amazing; they target the high street market. Their dresses are beautifully hand-made, and for that price its a bargain as they look expensive and a lot of hard work and design has actually gone in to it.
Their latest SS14 collection features pastels, embellishment, tweed and sequins. You can really see the inspiration from the catwalk; especially from the tweed as it just reminds me of Chanel.
We were even allowed to pick a dress to try on as well, it was such a lovely atmosphere. Unstoppable PR hired a photographer to take photographs of all of us in our dresses (which will be appearing on another blog post later in the week). We even got given a cute goodie bag with an Aftershock bracelet and perfume inside which was so thoughtful.
I would definitely recommend this brand for anyone that has a prom, wedding, cocktail event, film premiere or is going to be a bridesmaid. Honestly they cater for all special occasions and being so affordable but so stunning at the same time makes their brand a must have.
It’s not only dresses they do though, you can get a whole head to toe outfit there. If you visit their central London store like I did today, they are so welcoming and will cater for your every needs.
It was a very chilled day and was a pleasure to have met some other lovely bloggers, the brand and PR.
