A Night On The Town

I went out with the girls last night and this is the outfit I put together. I have wanted to do this hairstyle for a while now. I assisted styling on a photo shoot for Notion Magazine in which the music artist Syron had her hair in 2 small buns, it looked quirky and cute. I loved it! Then I saw Miley Cyrus at the VMAS and she did her hair similar. It seems to be the ‘in’ thing at the moment, so I gave it a go. I thought a zig zag partin would look cooler than a straight one, so I gave that a go too. I loved the look! I had to match this edgy, quirky hair with the rest of my outfit. I decided to do graphic black liner on my eyes, wear a bindi and dark lipstick. I feel this worked really well and complimented the hair.
For the clothing, I styled my motel rocks high waisted cross beaded shorts with a monochrome cross crop top from H&M. This was a nice mix as the two pieces connected through the crosses theme. I also loved the fact how my tattoos were on show, it really added to the overall look. The crosses on the motel shorts were silver, so I was a bit wary of wearing my gold Jeffrey Campbell’s. To overcome this, I mixed gold accessories in to my outfit. I work a gold lion belt, gold necklace, gold watch and a black and gold bag. This then matched my shoes. I also added in a hint of frilly socks too.
I absolutely loved this whole look I created and put together, it was nice getting compliments on the way I dressed when I was out.
