BLISSFIELDS FESTIVAL 2017

Fashion

I hadn’t heard of Blissfields festival until earlier this year, but when I discovered it I knew I had to attend. You might have seen me mention it on my blog post: 2017 Festivals and well this weekend I got to experience it.

Set on a farm in Winchester I’d describe Blissfields as a mini Secret Garden Party. It’s the smallest festival I’d ever attended, I think around 5000 people went, maybe even less. But that didn’t matter at all as I had so much fun with Blogger babes Paige & Charlotte who I went with. Blissfields is a camping festival so we set up in the general camping section; Blacks saved me as I had no tent or festival essentials a week before the trip, but they sorted me right out. They have an amazing range of camping necessities in store and online.

One of the best things about the festival was the decor. I love it when a festival goes to town with decorations and art installations, it just makes it. There were a few stages dotted around the field, along with food stalls, fairground rides, market stalls and even a hot air balloon ride! I think we only saw 1 music act the whole 2 days we were there, which is crazy to say. But there was just so much to do in such a small space; it’s safe to say, we had a lot of fun. My highlight of the festival had to be GOSPELOKE! Yup, Karaoke with a Gospel Choir! Whoever invented that is a genius! My favourite film is Sister Act and so obviously I chose to sing Oh Happy Day! It was amazing! You can see more of that on my vlog!

The only negative thing I have to say about the festival is that there was a lack of food. By Saturday lunch time lots of things had sold out, even certain drinks. The festival is small but I do think the stalls need to make sure they’re full stocked. But I guess they don’t want things to go to waste.

I obviously glittered and sequinned up at the festival and I know a lot of you love my festival outfits so I thought I’d share my looks here and where I got each look from.
